KEEP OF KALESSIN: New Video Interview Available

On February 2, Elena Mihailidou of Metalzone.gr and Vanesa Christodoulou conducted an interview with Robin "Wizziac" Isaksen (bass) and Torbjørn "Thebon" Schei (vocals) of Norway's KEEP OF KALESSIN. Robin and Thebon talked about their latest release, "Kolossus"; the accusations from the fans that they've sold out; the enhancing of their sound with diverse elements, the way Arnt "Obsidian C." Ove Grønbech plays guitar; their tour with SAMAEL; what inspires them, what they are working on at the moment and all their upcoming plans. Watch the 11-minute chat below.

KEEP OF KALESSIN last year shot a video for the song "Ascendant" in Gothenburg, Sweden with director Patrick Ullaeus, who has previously worked with such bands as DIMMU BORGIR, WITHIN TEMPTATION and IN FLAMES. According to the group, "It [is] a performance video shot on white screen / green screen and . . . [is] one of the 'baddest' metal videos of 2008!"

"Ascendant" comes off "Kolossus", which was released in June 2008. The CD was made available via Indie Recordings and was licensed to Nuclear Blast for the following territories: Germany, Austria, Switzerland and rest of the world outside Europe (except Australia and Russia).
